Now that the plan is to mail SD cards to customers instead of shipping a whole electronic device to them, I must figure out how to create the Wow experience while making sure that the card does not get crushed by the mail sorting machine.

A hardware product must be tested before it can be marketed which takes time and money. Validate the market before building a physical product by leveraging existing products and SD cards.

A bootstrapping hardware startup based in EU may do well by choosing to export its products in the beginning.
